Excellent and inexpensive Mexican restaurant with big portions and cheap price and very friendly service. Also very delicioous, had a big breakfast burrito. The Ceasar salad was not so good but the burrito was excellent. However, the Air conditioner could be fixed. However I would go back , excellent restaurant.

Chilaquiles seem to be the specialty of the house and if you don't feel like waiting for the Egg Plantation next door try this place, I really enjoyed their Chipotle chilaquiles

We came to El Pueblo to eat because of the long wait @ the place across the street. We got hooked & fell in love with their authentic excellent Mexican food. Service is very good, place is quiet and food is homemade-the best! Try it you won't be disappointed:)

This is a very nice restaurant, the food is excellent. All dishes are wonderful and very nicely presented. The staff is very professional and attentive. The space is refined, but with a hint of casual. The price point is at the high end, but The Pueblo Restaurant is well worth it. We tried the egg plantation but the services was not as nice as at Pueblo Restaurant, Gracias, Maria

I had the Mexican Burrito today at El Pueblo, I was served by Estella and her husband, nice people and the food was good, I loved it! Want good Mexican food? El Pueblo is what I recommend in Newhal, CA
